As a special visit aimed at introducing students to wine, we are offering an Erasmus Learn About Wine trip . For sure, you will most likely have drank wine, a sparkling wine like Cava or even Prosecco but this trip will expand your wine knowledge, understand how wines are made and demystify the world of wine. It will certainly make choosing a wine easier and give you a better idea of what is in the bottle before you buy or drink it !
We visit a DO Pago family owned estate with Organic Certified farming practices featuring old bush vines such as the autoctono Bobal, Tempranillo & Macabeo and also noble international grape varieties introduced some years ago into the vineyard.
Price: Euro79 p/p student rate min 4. students on trip. 
Itinerary: Guided vineyard & vines visit, tour bodega processes of elaboration, fermentation, aging/maturation, barrel hall, Cava method and differences in sparkling wines, guided tastings of DO Cava, range of barrel aged white, red and rosado wines with queso & embutido snacks ( 5-6 wines tasted ).You may also taste the Estate Extra Virgin Olive Oil. *All wines and oil are available for sale at the winery.
Pickup: Valencia city centre 0920hrs & returning approx. 1400hrs .
